Residents of Georgia State House District 25 (Johns Creek, South Forsyth, North Alpharetta), I am running for office to represent you at the state capitol.

My Stances on Key Issues:

  • Artificial Intelligence Regulation

    • Introduce safeguards against job displacement due to A.I.
    • Implement opt-out system for content creators from allowing their work to be used for A.I. training.
    • Protections for children from viewing A.I. generated content
    • Firm definition that A.I. is a tool and not a special entity nor can it ever be considered for personhood
    • Prohibition on datacenter costs of any kind being transferred to the public

  • Affordability

    • Restrict ownership of single family homes by corporate entities or individuals with a large number of single family home properties
    • Raise minimum wage to a living wage and enact automatic increases for inflation
    • Reduce taxes on lower and middle class, raise taxes on top 5% or more of earners
    • Protect property taxes as a source of funding and prevent sales tax and other regressive taxes from increasing

  • Education, Health, and Immigration

    • Restore Women's right to bodily autonomy and freedom of choice in reproductive health care
    • Repeal taxpayer funded private school vouchers
    • Promote public tuition reduction programs and preservation of HOPE scholarship
    • Reduce or eliminate cooperation with I.C.E. until proper reform and guarantee of due process has been re-established
    • Mandatory investigations into documented civil rights violations by I.C.E and accountability as appropriate
    • Anti-Book banning policies so that children and residents can access books from diverse schools of thought

  • Energy and Technology

    • State funded grants for climate-technology startups
    • Spur investment through tax Incentives for:
      • Battery powered electric vehicles
      • Battery energy storage systems (BESS)
      • Solar photo-voltaic installations
      • Carbon emissions reduction

Why Choose Me?

I am a Progressive. I am a Millennial. I am a Democrat. I will fight for real issues.

I am a highly motivated engineer with experience in Science, Engineering, and Business. I am passionate about policy, regulation, and getting things done. I grew up working at my parents' small business, and I believe that family shops are the true heart of America. As unregulated capitalism has taken hold, small businesses are being squeezed out.

My conviction as a citizen compels me to run for office and work to improve conditions in the state of Georgia, advocating for small businesses and encouraging innovation from startup companies. In an economy that works for all, small businesses meet the needs of everyday life, while larger businesses tackle the tough challenges that require more capital investment. There is a place for everyone in our country; we just have to ensure a level playing field for all.

About Me

I am 38 years old and have lived in Georgia since 2012. I have two children, aged 10 and 12 (4th and 7th grade), and a wife who is currently finishing up graduate school to become a librarian. I love science, I love books, and I love tinkering with new inventions. I was born in Michigan, grew up in California, went to college in Upstate New York, and moved to Georgia for my first job in the battery industry. After working as a battery engineer for many years, I returned to school at the University of North Georgia and earned an MBA. I currently work at GE Vernova as a Director of Product Management, leading the development of Battery Energy Storage Systems to store renewable energy and reduce our reliance on fossil fuels.

I hold a Bachelor's in Applied Physics, a Master's in Materials Science and Engineering, and an MBA with a certificate in entrepreneurship and innovation, earned in 2021. I have a granted patent in battery technology, I have authored several publications and industry articles, and frequently give talks at battery conferences around the country.
